The Bonwm Farm Water is situated a short distance downstream of Chain Pool and Bonwm Halt. This is a new addition to the CADAC beat portfolio, having recently acquired the full fishing rights for this beat, and members with the relevant permits can fish for Salmon, Sea Trout, Brown Trout and Grayling. This is a single right hand bank beat (looking downstream).
It’s easy access and wading and consists of a variety of water types from slower deep pools to the shallower riffles which provides habitat to the vast numbers of Trout and Grayling in the warmer months.
There are two named Salmon pools on this beat, and as a Salmon fishery, it offers the angler the choice of fly and spinning tactics and several Salmon are caught on this beat every year.
There are some beat specific rules (which are in addition to the standard Club Rules) outlined in full below.
