If any members are planning to fish the Ceiriog, we have been advised the there will be Japanese knotweed treatment works on the Afon Ceiriog due to commence on Monday 28 September.

Treatment will be carried out by approved contractors using herbicide applied directly to Japanese knotweed stands. The aim is to control the spread of this invasive non-native species and reduce its impact on the local environment.

Contractors will endeavour to minimise any disturbance and ensure works are carried out safely and professionally.
